Privacy at Knect
Knect only works if you trust it with your notes. Here is exactly how that works.
What Knect stores
Your profile answers, the AI summary generated from them, and the voice recaps you choose to record — audio file, transcript, and summary.
Who can see it
Only you. Every row in the database is locked to your account with row-level security, and audio files live in a private bucket that is readable only through short-lived links issued to your signed-in session.
How AI is used
AI runs server-side. Your answers are sent to generate a profile summary, and your recordings are sent to produce a transcript and summary. Nothing is used to build a public directory, and no keys are ever exposed to your browser.
Recaps are private by design
A recap is a note to yourself. The person you met is never notified and never gets access to what you recorded.
Deleting your data
You can delete any recap from its detail page — the row and the audio file are both removed. Deleting your account removes your profile, answers, and every recap.
